Alternative Therapies For Heart Failure | Health Insiders

Exercise, yoga, acupuncture, physical therapy, massages, eating healthy and not smoking are other ways to control the symptoms of conditions such as heart failure, diabetes or hypertension, according to Dr. Jose Soza, Family Medicine Specialist at Baptist Health Primary Care.

The specialist says he has patients who are very reluctant about taking medications and they try to control their symptoms or their conditions with those practices. He explains, while showing a picture, he has a 67-year-old patient and she does ballet.

Others therapies like massages or acupuncture are good, according to the specialist, in order to improve the patients’ quality of life and their conditions.
