0.049 -> it's a nice spring day and you figure it's
time to get back into your healthy habits
4.19 -> just in time for summer so you search on YouTube
for some inspiration and some videos wait
9.51 -> this kind of looks like me but we all know
that healthy habits aren't created overnight
13.82 -> and consistency is key to a balanced and healthy
lifestyle so I wonder which of these habits
19.02 -> did she (aka me) keep up with and benefited her the
most today we're going to go through some
23.84 -> of the healthy habits that I've kept up with
every day some of which I don't do anymore
29.929 -> or do occasionally and lastly some habits
that I've been really loving and that I've
35.77 -> added into my routine let's get into the video
60.665 -> one habit that
I've always stuck to is sleeping eight hours
64.199 -> and waking up at the same time every day it's
definitely a privilege to get enough sleep
69.03 -> and I do not want to take it for granted some
days when I had too much work and stayed up
73.32 -> all night I always feel terrible the next
day so I'll take sleeping over going out or
77.909 -> watching Netflix any day
84.092 -> teeth house is something I've kept up with
as well because it's so important we've only
88.62 -> got one set of adult teeth I try to at least
keep up with brushing every morning and night
93.45 -> as well as flossing the evening and sometimes
using mouthwash
100.954 -> as someone who used to struggle
a lot with their skin I now keep a consistent
105.68 -> skincare routine and I think it's paid off
some days we might have some breakouts here
109.98 -> and there but I think my skin has made tremendous
progress I usually cleanse my skin and double
114.85 -> cleanse at night then apply my go-to products
which are vitamin C serum with hyaluronic
119.67 -> acid plus moisturizer and sunscreen in the
mornings in the night time I apply retinol
124.32 -> and moisturizer as well sometimes I add some
other products too but those are my staples
158.04 -> one mindset change that sometimes helps me
is think about doing chores as a privilege
162.49 -> we might forget that a lot of "normal" things
for us is actually privilege like having two
167.379 -> legs, being able to see, being able to read
and write and having the internet for example
171.99 -> having a healthy and capable body that's able
to work out and go to the gym is a privilege
176.739 -> I get to have a room and an apartment to clean
and I'm so thankful. being able to draw and
182.09 -> write in my journal is a privilege. recognizing
our privilege doesn't negate our hard work
187.15 -> or difficulties that we've been through to
get here but it helps me keep a positive and
191.709 -> hopeful mindset some days no matter how positive
we train ourselves to be though some things
197.379 -> may feel like chores which is totally normal
on those days I like to think about how great
202.39 -> and accomplished will feel afterwards as well
as make habits easy and fun like doing it
207.23 -> with a friend partner and making exercise
a sport or activity as well as set many small
213.299 -> goals for ourselves that are easily accomplished
eventually everything become automatic
232.457 -> I also want to remind everyone
that how things feel is much more important
236.07 -> than how it looks. some people love to make
their lives look aesthetic and it motivates
240.209 -> them, but just because you don't have matching
workout sets or fancy water bottles doesn't mean
244.61 -> you can't participate in a healthy lifestyle.
so don't be afraid to sweat during a gym session
249.34 -> or make mistakes in your journal. sure it might
not look perfect but nobody is and you'll
253.85 -> feel so great afterwards. so don't be afraid
of starting healthy habits because it doesn't
258.1 -> look flawless. the gates are open for anyone
who's trying to become the best version of
262.46 -> themselves aesthetic or not. do it for you
270 -> now I don't exactly count how many cups
of water I drink a day anymore but I always
275.15 -> make sure to have my water bottle full and
right beside me when I'm doing anything. it's
279.419 -> causing me to drink a lot more water and probably
drink on average two of these bottles a day
284.419 -> so no more dehydration headaches for me! also
a reminder to drink water if you haven't today yet :)
310.49 -> eating well is so important to me because
I truly believe what I consume can affect
315.21 -> me so much. although to make it easier for
myself I don't exactly count the amount of
319.9 -> fruits and vegetable servings I eat a day
but I stick to 80% unprocessed whole foods
325.13 -> and I try to eat fruit or add vegetables to
every meal however the other 20% of the time
331.02 -> I don't like to restrict myself and for me
balance is super important
372.149 -> anything worth doing is worth doing
badly for example if showering feels like
376.99 -> too much just scrub or wash your face. if cleaning
the whole apartment or room is too difficult
381.56 -> just pick up a few clothes. brush your teeth
for 10 seconds is better than not brushing
385.96 -> them at all. walking outside for 10 minutes
instead of doing an hour of high intensity
390.31 -> interval training is better than just sitting
around. not everything we do has to be perfect
395.23 -> we might not do everything completely one
day or skip a day but the next day we pick
399.43 -> ourselves back up. anything worth doing is
worth doing poorly because doing it poorly
404.22 -> is better than not doing it at all
418.918 -> something that I've been loving is
using my bullet Journal I feel like it adds
421.73 -> creativity into my life while combining both
planning and journaling. in my journal I have
426.56 -> a habit tracker and every week I have a spread
to plan out my to-do list for each day and
431.25 -> schedule today I drew out my monthly June
title page to prepare for next week
453.601 -> hello everyone
it's editing Rebecca here and if you made
456.289 -> it this far in the video thank you so much
for watching it would help me out so much
460.28 -> if you gave this video a like and you subscribe
to my channel we're almost at 200 000 subscribers
465.159 -> which is really crazy and leave a comment
down below if you have any questions or anything
471.68 -> I read every single one of my comments all
right have a lovely day goodbye
495.701 -> a new habit that I'm currently trying to implement
more of my routine is stretching and rolling out
500.601 -> I use this lacrosse ball for my back and
it feels so good I feel like I've had back
504.71 -> pain since middle school I also use a foam
roller for the rest of my body it like hurts
509.62 -> so bad in a good way if that makes sense. other
than rolling out my muscles I like to do the
514.77 -> daily 15 minute stretch by Maddi Morrison
whenever I can. not only is it good for your
519.95 -> muscles but also I think it provides a time
for mental clarity and just spending time
525.95 -> with my own thoughts.
534.899 -> where are we going? soccer
546.034 -> exercise has been so
important for my mental and physical health
549.959 -> lately I've been going to the gym less and
playing a lot more sports as the weather has
553.899 -> gotten so nice outside I definitely want to
take advantage of the sun while it's still
558.08 -> lasts I think not only is it good for physical
health but I love the fresh air and socializing
563.59 -> with other people for me my goal is to just
get my body moving every day I don't follow
568.25 -> extremely strict workout routine but I just
do what makes me feel good and makes me happy
602.256 -> ultimately we can't rely on just motivation
605.16 -> we have to rely on discipline motivation may
get us to the door but what happens when it's
609.63 -> gone living a healthy balanced lifestyle is
a lifelong commitment remember that falling
614.1 -> off track doesn't mean the end of the world
I used to struggle with all or nothing thinking
618.07 -> like if I didn't start my New Year's resolutions
by January 1st then I'd have to wait until
623.06 -> the next year or if I had a couple of chocolates
might as well have the whole pack right? for
627.48 -> me what worked was starting with small attainable
habits and build from that. I felt so much
632.51 -> better when I was consistent and I saw noticeable
progress in every area of my life which led
637.94 -> me to continue consistently doing these habits
732.991 -> and then you drop the whole lasagna...
735.561 -> oh no stop that was scary XD
764.134 -> I can't say I know everything but
these are the habits that I've stuck to every
768.26 -> day and some advice for your journey as well
I know life can be confusing sometimes but
773.61 -> at least we're in this together
