1.04 -> In this video we are going  to describe the Bonnet Sign,
4.64 -> a sign that is associated with Retinopathy  of Malignant Arterial Hypertension.
15.28 -> You can see bonnet sign here inside the circle  and it is made up of the following triad:
26.8 -> Firstly, a pathological arteriovenous crossing.
30.48 -> In this case we can classify it as degree III  of Gunn's scale, degree III of the Gunn's Sign.
43.12 -> This pathological arteriovenous crossing has been  associated with the second component of the triad:
49.76 -> the Cotton Wool Spot.
55.36 -> And the third component of  the triad is the presence of
59.04 -> intraretinal or splinter hemorrhages in  the vicinity of arteriovenous crossing.
69.6 -> This is the characteristic triad of bonnet sign.
77.52 -> Bonnet sign is equivalent to Gunn's Sign  grade IV, since in Gunn's classification,
85.04 -> when a pathological grade III arteriovenous  crossing is also associated with a cotton wool
92.16 -> spot and a hemorrhage, it is considered a grade  IV. The same type of pathological arteriovenous
103.28 -> crossing, without bleeding or soft exudate  associated, would be a grade III Gunn's sign,
111.04 -> while if both are associated the  crossing would be then a grade 4.
118.08 -> As you can see Bonnet sign is  incorporated into Gunn's classification.
128.08 -> Bonnet sign, or Gunn's sign grade IV, is  associated with Malignant Arterial Hypertension
134.56 -> and is also considered a Sign of Pre-thrombosis.
143.12 -> Thank you so much for your attention.
159.92 ->
