Many people love popcorn and think it’s a healthy snack. But, is popcorn actually healthy or not?

Is popcorn keto-friendly? A lot of people, including myself, love popcorn, but is it healthy? I don’t think popcorn is healthy or good for those who want to lose weight. 

A few problems with popcorn:
• About 95% of popcorn is GMO
• Popcorn is highly glycemic
• Microwave popcorn has diacetyl, which has been linked to bad problems

A good popcorn substitute to have on an infrequent basis is popped sorghum. Sorghum is gluten-free, non-GMO, and it has the lowest glycemic index of all of the grains. You can cook it in coconut oil and put grass-fed butter and sea salt on it.
