How Heart Pacemaker works? (Urdu/Hindi)

Pacemaker is electronic device which is implant in the collarbone of person. This device generates mild electric impulses, which reaches to heart through wire and controls irregular heart beat.
Pacemaker devices are of three types
1 Single chamber pacemakers
2 Dual chamber pacemakers
3 And bi-ventricular pacemakers
Single chamber pacemakers provide pulse to right ventricle only.
Dual chamber pacemakers provide pulse to both right and left ventricle
While bi-ventricular pacemakers are implanted in heart failure patients mostly and it provide pulse to lower ventricles of the heart.
A pacemaker is surgically implanted under the collarbone.
There can be three reasons for pacemaker surgery
1 Congenital heart defects
2 SA (Sino-Atrial) nodes malfunctioning
3 And abnormal heart beat due to stress
SA nodes which are natural pacemakers are present in the right atrium of heart. They produce mild electric pulse. Which controls heart pumping.
If the SA nodes stop working for any reason, the heart beat becomes irregular. As a result, the heart is unable to contract and pump efficiently. In this condition the heart is connected to pacemaker through wire. So when this pacemaker generates electric pulses, It travels to heart and controls heart contraction and pumping.
Aside from that, some genetic defects, such as coronary artery disease, can disrupt heart rhythm.
These conditions are also treated with pacemaker devices. In pacemaker patients hemothorax can occur. A hemothorax is a condition in which blood fills the space between the lungs and the heart.
Furthermore, infection or blood clots can form at the site of pacemaker implant in pacemaker patients.
Pacemaker patients should keep their cell phones at least 6 inches away from their pacemakers.
And they should stay away from transformers and welding machines. Because these devices also generates electric impulses, which can interfere with the pacemaker and disrupt heart rhythm.
